FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (National)

Whether you’re studying the Certificate III in Accounts Administration (FNS30315), or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (FNS40215) , Educare’s Financial Services courses are AuStudy & AbStudy approved. If your studying either the Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113)or the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50113), various funding models can apply. AUSTUDY
Provides financial assistance to people aged 25 years and over who are studying or undertaking an Australian Apprenticeship full-time.

Provides financial assistance to Indigenous students undertaking secondary or tertiary education or a full-time Australian Apprenticeship.

QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT FUNDING

The information below provides a brief overview of the funding sources available to Queensland residents wishing to undertake a financial services or Childhood Education training course. Below is information from the relevant government department/s, including eligibility requirements.

 

HIGHER LEVEL SKILLS

The Higher Level Skills program is a key initiative under the Queensland Government’s five-year training reform action plan.

The program provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to access one subsidised training place in selected certificate IV level and above qualifications, or priority skill sets. For more information, please review the Higher Level Skills Program Fact Sheet.

The aim is to assist individuals to gain the higher level skills required to secure employment or career advancement in priority industries or to transition to university.

Employers may also be able to access training to address workforce development needs.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Student must not hold, or be currently enrolled in a Certificate IV or higher level qualification
  • Student must be 15 years or older
  • Student must be no longer at school
  • Student must be a Queensland resident
  • Student must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant) temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a NZ citizen
  • Employment status is not relevant
  • No minimum education requirement

 

FUNDING INFORMATION

Financial Services Concessional Funding Available  = $2,041.00  

Childhood Education Concessional Funding Available

* Cert III (CHC30113) = $3,460.00

* Diploma (CHC50113) = $7,050.00 

Concessional Discount Criteria
To qualify for the concessional discount, the student must hold a health care/pensioner concession card, OR be the spouse / dependent of the cardholder and be named on the concession card.

Financial Services Non-Concessional Funding Available = $1,570.00

Childhood Education Non-Concessional Funding Available

* Cert III (CHC30113) = $3,070.00

* Diploma (CHC50113) = $5,800.00

CERTIFICATE 3 GUARANTEE

The Certificate 3 Guarantee is a key initiative under the Queensland Government’s five-year training reform action plan, Great skills. Real opportunities.

The Certificate 3 Guarantee provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to complete their first post-school certificate III qualification, such as Educare Training Institute’s Certificate III in Accounts Administration (FNS30311). ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Student must not hold, or be currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher level qualification
  • Student must be 15 years or older
  • Student must be no longer at school
  • Student must be a Queensland resident
  • Student must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant) temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a NZ citizen.

COMMONWEALTH FUNDED TRAINEESHIPS
Australian Apprenticeships cover all apprenticeship and traineeship programs.

Australian Apprenticeships are available to school-leavers, those re-entering the workforce or those wishing to change careers, through combining time spent at work with vocational training, on a full-time, part-time or school-supported basis and provides a pathway to gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Government funded courses are available to eligible students who complete a nationally recognised qualification with Educare via a traineeship program. Through Australian Government traineeship incentives and subsidies, eligible employees may be able to provide their employer with incentive payments of up to $3,000 whilst increasing their contribution to workplace productivity through their developing skills and knowledge.
