online course delivery

Online Course Delivery

For online delivery, students can choose the following two commencement options:

  1. Commence anytime and progress at a pace that suits you, with up to twelve months for completion.
  2. Commence on a nominated start date, whereby Educare typically groups 10-18 students together into a ‘virtual class’, known as a Student Cohort. A Student Cohort is designed to replicate a traditional classroom environment, where students are expected to submit assessments on specified due dates and attend scheduled online tutorials that provide an opportunity for the tutor and student cohort to ask questions and interact.

Blended Learning Delivery

Some of our course allow for Blended Learning. Blended learner based training means that learners can study while working in the early childhood sector. Learners are assigned a Trainer/Assessor who will conduct regular face to face classes. These classes, are then combined with both online components and also practical assessment that is undertaken in an actual work environment. This blended method of delivery allows our Trainer/Assessor to not only support the learner through their learning but assess them to determine their level of competency in each unit. Please note there are different levels of support for each program.

On-campus study

Studying within a classroom setting gives you the chance to participate in a range of hands on activities guided by our experienced trainers. As an on-campus student, you will receive access to our Education Hubs’ full training program. You are in full control of your education and can gain assistance when and via a medium that works best for you.

One on one training

One-to-one (1:1)

This program offers individualised learning, which can be tailored specifically to your needs, interests and the pace you wish to work at. This is a mixed mode course, offering you the convenience of online study with the support and guidance gained from classroom study. You will predominantly work online, but will have unlimited access to trainers and can make weekly, fortnightly or monthly meetings with your trainer to ensure you are completing the course and understanding the content. You can organise these meetings to be face-to-face, on Skype or on the phone, whatever works for you and how you learn best.

Traineeship

This is an entry-level Employment Training Program, aimed at providing on the job experience and a work-based qualification pathway. A traineeship can be done full time or part time, or via on-the-job training and assessment.
